What it does

Appian announced on November 12, 2025 that Agent Studio is generally available. Business users set high-level goals in natural language, and agents use Appian's data fabric and tools to choose a path, handle unexpected conditions and act on enterprise data. Agents inherit platform data access, process context and guardrails, so their behaviour can be governed and audited within the process. Appian's AI security docs say AI capabilities run inside its certified cloud and inherit its certifications, including FedRAMP for GovCloud environments. On the FedRAMP Marketplace, Appian Government Cloud - High (FR2318051429) has been FedRAMP Authorized since 2025-04-03, and Appian Government Cloud - Moderate (F1210011608) is also listed as authorized.
