What it does

Agent Cake is the AI agent inside Cakewalk's identity governance and administration (IGA) platform. Per the vendor's own product page, it auto-provisions seats in supported applications after access has been approved and removes accounts during offboarding ('remove 100% of seats during offboarding'), lets employees request access conversationally, including directly in Slack, while enforcing the customer's access-control policy, and surfaces insights from the platform's single system of record, such as which AI agents teams are introducing. Setup is described as activating Agent Cake in Cakewalk so it can provision supported applications on the customer's behalf, then integrating Slack. The surrounding platform covers app and AI-agent discovery beyond the IdP (real-time alerts for access outside SSO), policy-builder approval workflows, role- and attribute-based access control, access reviews, on/offboarding and an open API, with 5,600+ apps supported out of the box. Cakewalk separately sells access management for AI agents (governance of other agents), which is not the focus of this listing. The vendor states it is ISO 27001 certified and GDPR compliant (vendor claims).
