This listing is an agent platform with security integrations, not a dedicated application-security product. It is in the Code security category because the vendor’s own docs show a concrete scanner or vulnerability-fix workflow (for example Snyk, Sentry or Dependabot). Compare dedicated AppSec listings on the AI code security agents table.

What it does
Devin is an autonomous software-engineering agent. Cognition’s own MCP docs include a Snyk server setup (install Snyk CLI on Devin’s machine, configure the MCP, run Snyk scans). Devin Desktop recommended plugins include SonarQube for IDE, Snyk Security and Checkmarx One. Enterprise environment docs show installing Snyk, Safety, Bandit and Trivy as organisation-wide scanners. Devin is a general coding agent with optional scanner integrations, not a SAST vendor. Cognition’s about page states headquarters in San Francisco. Palantir Federal Cloud Service – Supporting Services (PFCS-SS, FR2315464863) is FedRAMP Authorized at High (2024-11-19) and its Marketplace description names Cognition's Devin Desktop in that boundary. Cognition's federal docs say Devin Desktop and CLI are FedRAMP High via Palantir FedStart, while Devin Cloud is listed as In Process. That is Palantir's authorized boundary, not a Cognition Marketplace listing, so FedRAMP is vendor-claimed / platform-only for this agent.

Registry records checked 2026-10-18. Scope “listing” means the certified product is this listing or the government boundary it already documents; “platform-only” means another product line is certified and the vendor does not state this agent is inside that boundary.
