What it does
Bugbot is Cursor’s automated PR review product. Cursor docs state that it analyses PR diffs, leaves comments with explanations and fix suggestions, can run on each PR update or on a manual trigger (cursor review / bugbot run), and supports GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps and Origin after the repository is connected. Findings can include security issues; this is a general PR reviewer, not a dedicated SAST scanner. Cursor documents CI check statuses, optional fail-on-unresolved-issues, .cursor/BUGBOT.md rules, and a Bugbot API for enterprise teams. Vendor-claimed accuracy figures (for example that more than half of reported bugs are eventually fixed by engineers) are as marketed on cursor.com/bugbot.
