This listing is in the AI agent security and governance category — tools that secure or govern other AI agents. It is not counted with the GRC agents in the main directory.
What it does
Aembit implements the MCP OAuth 2.1 authorization code flow so agents and MCP clients, including personal agents, can register, authenticate and receive tokens governed by Aembit Access Policies. It exchanges credentials at request time and issues short-lived, scoped credentials that expire when the task ends, combines the agent's identity with the person it acts for, can revoke an agent instantly, and logs every MCP request with agent identity, user identity, target server and policy decision.

FAQ
What is Aembit IAM for Agentic AI?
Gives AI agents their own identity and policy-governed access to MCP servers and enterprise systems, exchanging credentials on the agent's behalf so agents never hold secrets.
Is this a GRC agent?
No. This listing is in the separate agent security and governance category: tools that secure, govern, identify or audit AI agents, not tools that run a company’s SOC 2 or ISO 27001 programme.
