This listing is in the AI agent security and governance category — tools that secure or govern other AI agents. It is not counted with the GRC agents in the main directory.
What it does
Microsoft Entra Agent ID provides agent identities and agent identity blueprints (templates with parent-child relationships) so organisations can apply consistent policies to many agents. It supports OAuth 2.0, MCP and agent-to-agent (A2A) protocols, works with agents built on non-Microsoft platforms such as AWS Bedrock and n8n via the Entra ID Auth SDK or workload identity federation, extends adaptive access, risk detection, lifecycle management and network controls to agents, and logs agent authentication and activity. Microsoft Learn states it is generally available; Microsoft's product page says Agent ID capabilities are available in Microsoft Agent 365 and Microsoft 365 E7 plans.

FAQ
What is Microsoft Entra Agent ID?
Gives AI agents first-class identities in Microsoft Entra so they can be authenticated, authorized, governed and audited like users and workloads, including agents built outside Microsoft.
Is this a GRC agent?
No. This listing is in the separate agent security and governance category: tools that secure, govern, identify or audit AI agents, not tools that run a company’s SOC 2 or ISO 27001 programme.
