What it does

Snyk provides SAST, SCA and related AppSec engines. Vendor documentation states that DeepCode AI Fix is now Snyk Agent Fix, and that as of May 2026 Agent Fix uses an agentic architecture (dynamic few-shot prompting and retries against a Snyk Code rescan) to suggest production-ready fixes for Snyk Code vulnerabilities, with human review required. Vendor-claimed advantages (for example expert-written fix samples and language coverage) are as marketed by Snyk. Public plans remain on snyk.io/plans. On 15 Oct 2026 Snyk announced Evo Agentic AppSec, a team of AI security agents that operate Snyk's deterministic engines (Snyk Code, Snyk Open Source and others) as tools: Evo Code Scanning Agent (logic and access-control flaws), Evo Dependency Firewall (blocks malicious or out-of-policy packages at install time), Evo Agentic Security Review (builds an application and threat model of a repository and produces evidence-backed findings), Evo Remediation Agent (runs the fix loop across new code and the backlog, starting with Snyk Open Source issues; fixes that might break the build are queued for approval, not merged) and Evo Secrets Detection. At launch Snyk said Code Scanning Agent, Dependency Firewall and Agentic Security Review were in experimental preview for select customers, Remediation Agent was in open preview (Snyk's docs call it Early Access), and Secrets Detection, Evo Agentic Development Security and Evo Continuous Offensive Security were generally available. Snyk's benchmark figures (for example a 90% mergeable-fix rate for Remediation Agent vs 59.6% for LLMs alone) are vendor claims.
