What it does
C1 (formerly ConductorOne) launched C1 Autonomous Worker (C1AW) on June 15, 2026, available to all C1 customers. C1 says C1AW is a governed AI agent for enterprise identity governance: an operator asks it, for example, to revoke every stale admin grant in Snowflake, build a quarterly access review for Engineering, pull audit evidence for who reached production last quarter, or find deactivated users still listed as entitlement owners, and it reasons over C1's identity data, takes action through C1's policy engine and delivers the finished artifact in the thread. It can only do what its operator is already allowed to do, and every action is attributed in C1's audit trail. The C1 Agents product page says agents plan, gather permitted context and execute work within C1's access controls and inference routing, and escalate for human approval when required. C1 also sells identity governance, an LLM gateway, an MCP gateway and secrets management. Workday announced a definitive agreement to acquire C1.ai on October 13, 2026, expected to close by January 31, 2027. Pricing amounts are not published (SKU-based Platform pricing or usage-based Flex pricing with C1 Tokens).
