What it does
Sourcery (Sourcery.AI Limited, London) reviews every pull request or merge request within minutes on GitHub, GitLab.com and self-managed GitLab (GitHub Enterprise Server on Enterprise), posting a PR summary, review comments and suggested changes that can be committed in one click. Per its security page, it reviews changed code for vulnerabilities and explains each finding; when it finds a blocking high-severity security issue its GitHub check fails, so teams can require it before merging. On the Team plan it also scans up to 50 repositories every night (Open Source and Pro scan twice a week), flagging exposed secrets, vulnerable code, misconfigured infrastructure and dependencies with known CVEs, tracks issues until a later scan no longer finds them, and gives each issue a ready-made prompt to hand to a coding agent such as Cursor. It can auto-approve low-risk PRs that have no blocking findings. Teams can write custom review rules. Sourcery says it keeps no copy of code after a review and does not train models on it, and that it is SOC 2 Type II compliant (vendor claim about its own controls). Enterprise runs self-hosted with SSO and the customer's own LLM keys. Note: Sourcery describes itself as an AI code reviewer and does not use the word 'agent'; it is listed for its autonomous PR review, approval and merge-blocking security checks.
