What it does
Cleavr (Cleavr SAS, founded 2025) sells AI-powered accounts-receivable automation that it says replaces the whole collection process, not just reminders. Once connected to the ERP or billing system (integrations listed include Pennylane, Stripe, Chargebee, NetSuite, SAP, Odoo, Xero and Qonto), it works through open invoices. It identifies billing contacts and follows up from D+1 by email, SMS, voicemail/AI phone calls and WhatsApp, in the debtor's language. It tracks payment promises, handles disputes and credit notes, and reconciles incoming payments. Its 'Cleavr Intelligence' reads every customer reply, classifies it (for example 'OK to pay', 'dispute', 'cash-flow difficulty') and acts on it: scheduling the next follow-up, pausing and alerting the team on a dispute, or proposing a payment plan. It also adjusts tone, channel and timing to each customer's payment history. The vendor says routine collection runs with 'no human oversight required' and teams step in only when needed. It also lists recovery workflows 'from friendly to legal', a debtor payment portal and Chorus Pro deposits. Vendor-reported results (average 37% lower DSO and 40% more cash collected) are claims. Cleavr announced an €8M round (led by Varsity) and says it has launched in Spain, Germany, Belgium, Italy and the UK. It says there are no setup fees and no annual commitment. Pricing is not published.
