dexIQ is built by Dexterous AI Pty Ltd, part of Dexterous Group, an Australian outsourced-finance firm. Its platform pages describe a team of specialist agents. Inbox Management reads and classifies every finance email and routes supplier invoices to the accounts-payable agents. The AP agents extract every line, header and total, check the supplier ABN against the Australian Business Register and the GST arithmetic, run fraud/scam (bank-detail change), anomaly and duplicate checks, compare vendor history and apply GL coding from the customer's rules and history; low-confidence or flagged invoices are held for review with the reason. Approved bills post straight to Xero and payment runs can be prepared as ABA files, but dexIQ 'never releases a payment on its own'. Approval is the default; once confident, customers can turn on autopilot so predictable, high-confidence bills post to Xero on their own within their limits. The reconciliation agent matches bank lines to ledger entries (including one-to-many and fuzzy matches), clears high-confidence matches on its own above a customer-set threshold and proposes the rest with reasoning. The AR agent drafts invoices from billing schedules, applies credit terms, matches receipts and prepares overdue follow-ups, but external communications with financial weight are sent by a human. Further modules cover BAS/IAS, month-end close and management reporting. Data is stored in an Australian (Sydney) data centre and every action is logged. Pricing is not published.
