What it does
LexisNexis says Lexis+ with Protégé (generally available from February 2026, replacing Lexis+ AI) combines generative and agentic AI. In its May 2026 release, Protégé Work routes a natural-language legal goal to the right skill or workflow, 'presents a structured plan for the work' and executes the tasks to produce review-ready work product; skills include contract comparison, complaint analysis, due diligence, compliance review and playbook-based review. Protégé Agentic Drafting uses purpose-built drafting agents for contracts, motions, briefs and deal documents. An August 2026 update joined models, agents, skills and sources into one experience that carries context from research through drafting and review. The product page describes Protégé as 'the AI assistant layer' across LexisNexis solutions, so buyers should check which agentic features are live in their market (LexisNexis said the platform rolls out globally through 2026). LexisNexis Legal & Professional is part of RELX; its US privacy notice names 'LexisNexis, a division of RELX Inc.', and its releases are datelined New York. Lexis+ for Government (FR2510634052) is FedRAMP Authorized (Moderate), but its Marketplace description covers legal research and does not mention Protégé, so FedRAMP is recorded as vendor-claimed only and is not a verified framework tag. Pricing is by quote.
