Per Matrix42's Neo page and the Matrix42 Professional 26.2 release notes (Oct 22, 2026), Neo is Matrix42's agentic AI across service, asset and endpoint management, combining conversational assistance with 'agents that work continuously in the background to identify issues, automate tasks and move work forward'. On the service desk, Neo prepares incoming tickets, resolves repeatable issues using known solutions, documents the resolution and communicates the outcome, and routes unresolved tickets to the most likely resolver; it investigates tickets with related incidents, changes, problems and knowledge articles and updates ticket information; it analyses live device data to find the likely cause and executes the fix once the agent approves; it links recurring symptoms into problem records and drafts knowledge articles for review. For employees it answers questions in the self-service portal and Microsoft Teams and fulfils supported requests end to end, 24/7, including HR requests such as onboarding. Administrators get connector-failure diagnosis with corrective actions prepared for approval, and an AI Studio lets customers build and govern their own agents. A Matrix42 Professional MCP server exposes service-management data to tools such as Copilot and Claude Code under the user's permissions. With 26.2 the AI Core engine rolls out to all customers and Neo comes with a 60-day free trial (subject to limitations). Prices are not published.
