On 15 Oct 2026 ServiceNow announced AI Passport, a cryptographically signed runtime credential that defines what first- and third-party AI agents and MCP servers may do in multi-agent workflows (with redirect/restrict responses and a kill switch), plus shadow AI detection and AI Cost Management; these are expected in Q4 2026. It also announced EmployeeWorks Productivity Assistants, Productivity Routines and ToolSmith (controlled availability) and an Operational Resilience solution for financial services (available now).
